Matt Fisk's STR YZ 144 Tired of participating in the P.C.P.! That's the "parts counter program" that the factories have created with the four stroke revolution. They try to convince you that you can't compete on a two stroke. We disagree!!! The transition from an 85 or 105 to a 250F is too great. If you want to polish your skills for the future, we recommend staying on a 125 or better yet a 144. Tired of paying $2000+ every time you blow up your 250F. For $1600 we will overbore your cylinder and do the head mods needed for the plus 2mm top end. We will stroke and balance your crank to bring it to 144cc. There also has to be modifications to the power valves and cases to accept the new size. All our lower ends are completely rebuildable with OEM components. Our top ends use standard Wiseco piston kits. Some companies will grind connecting rods to fit the case, leaving the next person to rebuild it wondering what was done. Whoever gets our motors to rebuild will have no questions. We have converted CR's, KX's, RM's and YZ's from 125's to 144's with complete success in performance. Adam Johnson's '07 YZ 144 now has 140 hours with 0 failure. Some of you may know we nicknamed Adam "The Terminator", but he has not been able to terminate this motor. Our motors will provide many hours of performance if you follow our guidelines. Race fuel with proper jetting and clean air filters will keep you out of the P.C.P. Turn around is usually one to two weeks. |
